June 7th - July 19th

The exhortation “Walk in the Spirit” captures the biblical path to spiritual formation that is both physical and spiritual - both natural and supernatural - both other-worldly and worldly. The process of sanctification (ie. being transformed into the image of Christ) is an embodied one. What we do (or don’t do) in our bodies impacts our spiritual well-being - and vice versa. Spiritual health and physical movement are inter-related. If you have a daily steps goal, you are going to love this series as we increase our spiritual and physical steps with Jesus!

“Following Jesus back then was physical as much as it was spiritual. If you wanted to follow Jesus, you just had to walk alongside or behind him.” - Steve Cuss, Managing Leadership Anxiety

Theme Scripture:

  • "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” - Galatians 5:1 NKJV
